- SnapNType
Is
the SnapNType driver compatible with Macintosh?
Yes,
the SnapNType driver is fully compatible with Macintosh. Simply
download the driver from our web site and perform a HotSync to install
snapntype.prc to your I300
and you are ready to go! You only need your Macintosh computer to
HotSync the application, subsequent operation of the SnapNType will
not require the computer.
Do
I need to disable the SnapNType driver before performing HotSync?
Since both the SnapNType keyboard and your I300
cradle used the same serial port, you need to disable the SnapNType
driver before performing a HotSync.
Do
I have to disable the SnapNType driver every time I remove the device?
No,
you can leave the SnapNType driver enabled all the time. The only
time you may want to disable the SnapNType driver is when you need
to use the serial port for another application, such as beaming
or HotSync.
While
the SnapNType is connected, can I beam information to other PDAs?
No.
You have to disable the SnapNType driver before performing the beam
action. However, you will be able to receive beam information while
the SnapNType driver is enabled.
