- SnapNType
Which
models is the T301 compatible with?
The
T301 is compatible with iPAQ 3100, 3500, 3600 as well as 3700 series.
Do
I need a special driver for PPC 2002?
The
SnapNType driver will work with both Pocket PC 3.0 and Pocket PC
2002.
During
installation, the error message "There is no application
associated with snapntype" pop up.
There
is a conflict in your iPAQ registry that prevented the SnapNType
software to run properly. Download the latest driver here
and perform the installation again.
The
SnapNType software installed properly but all the keys just type
'1'.
You
probably have another keyboard driver installed in your iPAQ. Since
most keyboard drivers will use the same serial port on your iPAQ,
you can only enable ONE driver at any time. When using the SnapNType
keyboard, you need to disable all other keyboard driver and make
sure the SnapNType driver is the only one enabled.
Each
time when I type a key, the backlight will come on even though I
have already disabled backlight.
Version
1.0 software will update the backlight setting only during a soft
reset. Any subsequent change in backlight setting will be ignored.
The latest driver release improved on this and will check backlight
setting on the fly. Download it here.
Do
I need to disable the SnapNType driver each time I finished using
it?
No,
you can leave the driver turned on as long as you do not have another
application that will use the same serial port.
Will
ActiveSync be affected?
The
SnapNType is fully compatible with ActiveSync. You can leave the
driver enabled and synchronize as usual.
Can
I send and receive Infrared while using the SnapNType?
Yes,
Infrared will not be affected.
Can
I use the stylus while using the SnapNType?
Yes,
you can use the stylus and keyboard simultaneously.
Can
I use the SnapNType while using other expansion packs?

port, the SnapNType can be used together with any expansions packs.
Otherwise, you will have to switch between the SnapNType and the
expansion.
